Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on Barker Cypress Rd
CYPRESS, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on the 7000 block of Barker Cypress Rd on Monday.
Nikola Espinosa was driving a grey 2004 Jeep Liberty north on Barker Cypress Rd when he hit a pedestrian trying to cross the roadway from west to east outside of a crosswalk around 4:45 a.m.
Rescue crew crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Following the collision, Espinosa stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
