Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with motorcyclist on Mesa Dr
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a motorcyclist at 5801 Mesa Dr on Thursday.
The motorcyclist was stopped at a light on northbound Mesa Dr. around 11:38 p.m. when a 27-year-old man driving a gray Kia rear-ended him.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the Kia driver left the area on foot.
Police found the Kia driver hours after the collision. He was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities have not filed charges at this time.
