Police investigate deadly single-vehicle crash on S Loop E
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on the 6600 block of S Loop E on Sunday.
A 44-year-old man was driving a white Chrysler 300 east on S Loop E when they strayed off the roadway and into a grassy median around 12:50 a.m.
The vehicle then rolled over and slammed into a metal guardrail before coming to rest near a sidewalk.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported his female passenger to an area hospital in stable condition.
