Hit-and-run driver runs over motorcyclist near Cliff Tuttle Park
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a semi-truck driver fled the scene after running over a motorcyclist near East Fwy WB and Kress St on Friday.
The 64-year-old motorcyclist was heading west on the East Fwy when he rear-ended the back of an SUV being towed by another SUV around 12:45 a.m.
The motorcyclist then fell off his motorcycle and was run over by a semi-truck driver.
Following the collision, the first two drivers remained at the scene and called 911. The semi-truck driver did not stop.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the collision to call crime stoppers.
