1 dead in truck crash on Main Street in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – One person died in a fatal semi-truck collision on Main Street that occurred on May 13, according to the Houston Police Department.

The 70-year-old driver of a maroon semi-truck was heading east on the 12100 block of Main Street when Blake Sansom, 44, walked into the roadway around 11:20 a.m. The truck driver struck the man.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died on May 24.

The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
