Driver fatally rear-ends UPS truck on Chrisman Road

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed after they slammed into the back of a UPS truck on the 13600 block of Chrisman Road Friday evening, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Pascual Adrian Martinez Rodriguez was driving a Ford F150 pickup truck north on Chrisman Road at high speeds when he plowed into the back of an UPS truck parked in the lane with its emergency flashers on around 5:48 p.m.

The UPS driver was not in the truck at the time of the crash.

First responders pronounced Rodriguez dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the UPS driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
