Driver dies after crashing into the bank of Greens Bayou

HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver died in a single-vehicle crash on the 11000 block of Veterans Memorial Drive early Tuesday morning.

Edgar Anaya was driving a grey 2019 Ford F-150 south on Veterans Memorial Drive when he strayed off the road and hit the side of a gravel driveway around 1:04 a.m.

Anaya’s truck then went airborne and landed on the southern bank of Greens Bayou.

First responders transported Anaya to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
