Officials provide more information on deadly crash on Westheimer Road
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department has released additional details concerning the fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred on the 12100 block of Westheimer Road on Wednesday.
An 82-year-old man was driving a white Ford Taurus west on Westheimer Road when he collided with a gold Toyota Camry, a blue Hyundai Sonata, and a white Cadillac. The Taurus driver then went onto the sidewalk and became disabled.
First responders transported the Taurus driver to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials believe the Taurus driver may have had a medical episode before the crash.
Nobody else was hurt in the incident.
