Richmond PD investigate fatal accident at Harlem, W Bellfort
RICHMOND, TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to a major accident that happened Thursday morning in northeast Fort Bend County.
According to KHOU 11, the crash occurred sometime before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Harlem Road and West Bellfort, which is on the northeast side of Richmond. This is approximately 32 miles southwest of Houston.
Officials closed roads in the area of the collision while emergency teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
Details are still pending regarding the cause of the cause of the accident, the number of vehicles involved, or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.
Authorities haven’t disclosed the name of the deceased, nor have they indicated if there were additional injuries.
