La Porte Fwy EB at Goodyear blocked by semi collision
HOUSTON, TX – Drivers faced rush-hour delays along the freeway Friday morning in southeast Houston following a semi crash.
According to abc 13, the accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on TX-225 eastbound, or the La Porte Freeway, at Goodyear Drive. This is just east of Sims Bayou and northeast of Charles H. Milby Park.
It’s not yet clear if any other vehicles were involved in the collision with the 18-wheeler, nor do we know if anyone sustained injuries.
Officials closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Goodyear while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
