Crews respond to 3-car collision on I-610 at TX-288
HOUSTON, TX – Emergency teams responded to a multi-vehicle crash along the interstate in south-central Houston on Wednesday night.
According to Houston Transtar, the incident occurred before 9:30 p.m. at I-610 westbound and TX-288, which is just east of the Houston Astrodome.
Police haven’t shared any details about the collision except to say that three vehicles were involved.
There’s no word yet regarding injuries or the cause of the crash.
Officials closed lanes of travel in the area of the wreck while emergency teams responded to the scene.
