Crews respond to semi rollover at I-10, Eastex Fwy in NE Houston
HOUSTON, TX – Emergency crews responded to a collision involving an 18-wheeler Friday morning along the interstate in northeast Houston, reports abc 13 News.
The crash happened shortly after 10:15 a.m. on the northbound ramp from I-10 Eastbound to I-69. This is just west of Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause or circumstances of the accident. They say that a semi-truck overturned, blocking several lanes of traffic. It’s unclear if other vehicles were involved, or if anyone in the truck sustained injuries.
Officials closed the northbound ramp to from I-10 to I-69 while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
