Injuries likely in wrong-way crash along I-10 near Walden Rd
BEAUMONT, TX – Emergency crews responded to a wrong-way collision along the interstate in northeast Jefferson County on Tuesday afternoon, reports Fox 4 Beaumont.
The accident occurred just before 3 p.m. on the northbound service road for I-10 between Walden Road and Clearwater Court in Beaumont, which is about 85milse northeast of Houston.
Police say that a southbound vehicle entered the northbound side of the frontage road, causing the head-on crash.
It’s not yet clear how many people were hurt in the collision, nor do we know the extent of those injuries.
The accident likely caused delays along the 1-10 service road while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
