EMS called to collision involving police cruiser in Westfield area
HOUSTON, TX – Medics responded Tuesday to the scene of a rear-end collision involving a Harris County police cruiser in north-central Houston.
The accident occurred early in the morning on the Hardy Toll Road near FM 1960 Road East in the Westfield area.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle crashed into the rear of a cruiser that was parked along the shoulder of the toll road. The officer in the cruiser was observing traffic when the accident happened.
Photos taken at the scene indicate that a white sedan was likely involved,.
It’s not yet clear if anyone involved in the collision sustained injuries.
