Jeep fleeing police causes two-vehicle injury crash at Fry, Tealbrook
HOUSTON, TX – A woman sustained serious injuries Wednesday when a driver fleeing police caused a two-vehicle crash in northwest Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Fry Road just south of Tealbrook Drive in the Tealbrook neighborhood.
The investigation indicates that police attempted to stop a Jeep for suspected street racing. The driver evaded the attempted stop and ultimately crashed into a sedan.
Following extrication measures, medics transported the driver of the sedan to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver that caused the accident sustained non-critical injuries and will likely face charges in connection to the accident.
