Teen cyclist airlifted after crash near TX-6, Pebble Lake Dr

HOUSTON, TX – A 14-year-old bicyclist sustained serious injuries Saturday in a collision along the highway in northwest Houston.

According to Fox 26, the accident occurred around 11 p.m. on TX-6 near Pebble Lake Drive. This is just north of Easton Commons Plaza.

Police say the teen was trying to cross the highway on his bicycle when a Jeep Wrangler hit him.

Medics airlifted the victim to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The driver involved in the crash stopped to render and and to speak with police.

A full investigation is underway.
