Car strikes, injures toddler near Brentwood and Dell Dale
CHANNELVIEW, TX – A vehicle struck and injured a two-year-old Sunday afternoon in the eastern suburbs of Houston, reports According to KHOU 11.
The crash occurred just before 12:45 p.m. on Brentwood Street near Dell Dale Street in the city of Channelview, about 17 miles from the city.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause or circumstances of the pedestrian accident, nor have they disclosed the extend of the child’s injuries.
The driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities. It’s unclear if they will face charges.
Motorists likely faced significant delays along Brentwood Street in the area of the crash while crews attended to the toddler and worked to clear the scene.
