Pedestrian airlifted after crash at N Eldridge, Chimney Sweep

HOUSTON, TX – Emergency crews responded to an auto-pedestrian crash involving a juvenile Friday morning in northwest Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.

The accident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chimney Sweep Drive and North Eldridge Parkway in the Jersey Village area, just south of Cypress Ridge High School.

The victim was crossing North Eldridge when he was struck by a southbound SUV. According to police, the driver of the SUV had a green light when the collision occurred.

Medics airlifted the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details have been released at this time.
