Pickup crashes into building on W Montgomery, killing driver

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are still working to identify a man who died Monday night in a solo crash in northwest Houston.

According to My Texas Daily, a red GMC pickup truck was involved in a collision around 8:45 p.m. on West Montgomery Road near Beall Street.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the 46-year old driver of the pickup lost control of his vehicle, departed from the roadway, and slammed into a building.

The driver, who has not yet been identified, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

There were no passengers in the pickup truck at the time of the accident.
