Auto-bicycle collision at Welsh Ave, Deacon Dr injures child
COLLEGE STATION, TX – Police are investigating an injury accident involving a dump truck and a child cyclist that happened late last month in Brazos County.
According to KBTX, the crash happened the afternoon of Thursday, February 26th, at the intersection of Welsh Avenue and Deacon Drive in College Station, about 95 miles northwest of Houston.
It’s not yet clear what caused the dump truck and the cyclist to collide at the intersection.
Medics transported the child to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
It’s unclear if the dump truck driver faced any charges in connection to the crash.
