Driver hospitalized after Coca-Cola truck rollover on I-45

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – A truck driver was hospitalized after an 18-wheeler wreck Monday morning on I-45 near Highway 242, reports FOX 26 Houston.

The crash reportedly happened along the northbound lanes of I-45 near The Woodlands. Officials say a truck carrying Coca-Cola products collided with another vehicle and rolled over. Reports indicate that the wreckage blocked several lanes during the morning commute. Video from above showed drinks scattered across the freeway.

Medics checked two people from the other vehicle at the crash site. Officials said paramedics also transported the truck driver to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Authorities have not explained what may have caused the collision.
