Pedestrian killed in Houston hit-and-run crash on Will Clayton Parkway

HOUSTON, TX – A male pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday at 6400 Will Clayton Parkway in Houston, per the Houston Police Department.

Houston police say the collision happened around 1:30 a.m. on May 3. Officers responded to the area following reports of a roadway hazard.

According to investigators, an unidentified white vehicle had struck the man and then left the area. A white Jeep Cherokee then collided with the pedestrian as well. Police say the Jeep’s driver, a 26-year-old woman, remained on location and did not appear impaired.

Emergency medical workers pronounced the man dead at the scene. Officials have not yet released his name.

The HPD urges anyone with tips about the unknown white vehicle to contact their Hit-and-Run Unit as they continue their investigation.
