Driver hospitalized after Friendswood school bus crash

FRIENDSWOOD, TX – One driver was hospitalized after a crash involving a school bus Monday morning on FM 2351 in Friendswood, reports FOX 26 Houston.

The wreck reportedly happened in the 5000 block of FM 2351 near Blackhawk Boulevard.

Friendswood police say the bus collided with another vehicle. No students or other bus occupants reported injuries.

Medics transported the other vehicle’s driver to a hospital for care. Officials have not shared details of that person’s condition.

Authorities closed the eastbound lanes while officers examined the scene. Those lanes later reopened to traffic.

Police have not yet explained what caused the collision.
