Pedestrian’s life claimed in collision involving passenger vehicle in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a collision involving a non-METRO passenger vehicle on Monday, according to ABC13.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. in an HOV lane near West Road. Houston Police determined that the pedestrian was running across the freeway and entered an HOV lane just before getting struck by the vehicle.

EMS crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where they later died.

Police have not released the victim’s name at this time.
