2 sent to ER after crash caused by stop sign runner in Crosby
CROSBY, TX – A man and a woman were hospitalized following a crash caused by a stop sign runner in Crosby on Tuesday morning, ABC13 said.
Deputies said it was a driver of a 2024 white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck who ran a stop sign and rear-ended a 2015 white Ram 1500 pickup truck.
The Chevrolet driver drove away from the scene.
The driver of the Ram, Seth Garcia, veered into a grassy area and plowed into a light pole.
Garcia and his passenger were both hospitalized. It appears Garcia was taken to the ER via a medical helicopter, while his passenger was taken via an ambulance.
Deputies said Garcia’s passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but have not confirmed the extent of his injuries.
Deputies later located the Chevrolet driver and said the motorist cooperated with investigators, but did not specify whether they cited them or whether they could face charges.
