Woman’s life claimed in hit-and-run collision in Houston’s East Little York Homestead

SOUTHEAST HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Houston’s East Little York Homestead neighborhood on Monday.

Police told ABC13 that the crash happened on Little York Road near North Wayside Drive. Police said the woman, in her mid-20s, was sitting or walking when she was struck by a gray or black sedan.

The sedan driver did not render aid to the victim or call 911 and immediately fled the scene.

Police said the suspect left very little debris at the scene, making it harder for them to identify their vehicle.

Updates, including the victim’s name, details about the suspect and their vehicle, and a report of an arrest, will be added once we learn more.

A full investigation is underway.
