Pedestrian struck by vehicle and killed in I-35 N crash
AUSTIN, TX- A pedestrian walking on the I-35 North southbound roadway was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night, according to KXAN.
The collision occurred near Parmer Lane in the 12200 section of the highway at approximately 11:00pm. An individual was walking on the highway when they were struck by a vehicle. The roadway was shut down as officials arrived, and another crash occurred in the traffic caused by the accident.
The victim was declared dead at the scene of the crash. We will be monitoring for further information as it becomes available.
