Driver killed in collision with Leander ISD school bus
TRAVIS CO., TX – One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a collision involving a Leander ISD school bus this morning.
According to a report by KXAN, A red passenger vehicle slammed head-on into the school bus at about 7:30 a.m. while traveling within the 18300 block of Ranch Road 1431, near Pecan Drive.
The driver of the vehicle was extricated and rushed to the hospital, where they died a short time later.
The bus driver was also hospitalized with unknown injuries. Fortunately, no students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
