1 killed, 1 injured in car fire on FM 812 Rd in Elroy area
ELROY, TX – One person was killed and another was injured in a car fire on FM 812 Road in Elroy last night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened in the area of 15908-16113 FM 812 Road near Peterson Road at 8:25 p.m., when a vehicle caught on fire while at least one person was still inside.
Authorities confirmed that one adult was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second adult victim was declared a trauma alert, then taken to Seton Kyle to receive treatment for possibly severe injuries.
