Police ID man killed in single-vehicle crash on Ben White Blvd earlier this month
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities have released the identity of a man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Ben White Boulevard earlier this month, according to a news release from the Austin Police Department.
The crash happened in the 8300 block of E Ben White Boulevard eastbound at 7:15 a.m. March 9, when the driver of a Jeep Cherokee, 29-year-old Javier Villasenor-Reyes, went off the side of the road. The Cherokee then overturned.
Villasenor-Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other victims were reported in the crash.
The crash, which is Austin’s 17th fatal collision of the year, remains under investigation.
