Pedestrian killed in train crash near West 3rd Street
AUSTIN, TX- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train near West 3rd Street early Thursday, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
At approximately12:45am, officials responded to the area of 1003 West 3rd Street due to reports of an accident involving a pedestrian and a train. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident shortly after. No further details have been reported at this time.
