Person on paddleboard hospitalized after rescue on Lady Bird Lake
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities rescued one person on Lady Bird Lake this evening after they were seen lying unconscious on a paddle board, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened on the lake near 1705 Stephen F Austin Drive at 7:02 p.m., when a person lying flat on a paddle board was seen lying unconscious and wedged between some trees.
Rescuers on paddleboards helped assist the victim to shore, where they were further evaluated by medical personnel.
The adult victim was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
