Air ambulance called to semi rollover on I-10 near TX-61

CHAMBERS CO., TX – An air ambulance responded to a rollover collision involving an 18-wheeler Thursday morning in northwest Chambers County.

According to abc 13, the accident occurred sometime before 8:45 a.m. near I-10 and TX-61 in the area of Turtle Bayou and Wallisville. This is around 45 miles east of Houston.

Police haven’t yet determined what may have caused the semi-truck to overturn on the interstate, nor have they disclosed information about specific injuries.

The crash closed both sides of I-10 while emergency teams gathered evidence, attended to the victim(s), and worked to clear the scene.
