Alleged drunk driver fatally collides with another vehicle on Veterans Memorial Dr
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – One person is dead after a suspected impaired driver hit another vehicle near Veterans Memorial Dr and Wilshire Park Dr on Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield the right of way while turning left and struck the driver’s side of a Kia Sonata around 12:50 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Kia Sonata driver dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the Silverado driver was impaired. They arrested the driver and charged them with Intoxication Manslaughter.
Officials have not released the names of the victims or the suspects.
