Bicycle ride on Tidwell Road turns fatal
HOUSTON, TX- A vehicle struck and killed a bicyclist on Tidwell Road on the night of April 17th, the Houston Police Department reports.
At 9:40p.m., a middle-aged male bicyclist was hit by a black Acura TL on 8700 Tidwell Road. The bicyclist had been heading north and was crossing the street when the eastbound car hit him. He was reported dead at Ben Taub Hospital.
The driver remained at the location until authorities arrived and questioned him. He was determined to not have been impaired.
This investigation remains open.
