Driver killed in crash while fleeing hit-and-run in NW Houston
HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed in a crash while fleeing a hit-and-run in Hidden Valley on Thursday night.
According to ABC 13, a Honda collided with a Toyota Tundra on Veterans Memorial Drive near the Beltway at about 11 p.m.
The Honda fled the scene before running the red light at Veterans Memorial and West Mount Houston and slamming into a Ford F-150 pickup.
The unidentified driver of the Honda suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The Ford’s driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
It is unclear if the Toyota’s driver was hurt in the initial crash.
