Driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Golden Acres
PASADENA, TX – A driver fatally collided with a male pedestrian on the 3400 block of E Sam Houston Pkwy on Saturday, according to KTRK.
A man was driving a blue Honda Ridgeline north when he hit the victim as he was crossing the street around 7 p.m.
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities released the driver after they ruled out impaired driving as a cause of the crash.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
