Head-on crash near Sheldon Rd, Bus. 90 sends 2 to hospital

HOUSTON, TX – Two women sustained injuries Tuesday in a wrong-way collision along a major roadway in northeast Houston.

According to Fox 26, the accident happened on Sheldon Road near Business 90, which is east of Sheldon Lake.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a southbound F-250 entered the northbound side of the roadway and crashed head-on into a northbound F-150.

Medics airlifted the southbound driver to an area hospital in stable condition.

The wrong-way driver also required hospitalization for non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash.
