Man dies after running towards a Metro bus on Scott Street
HOUSTON, TX- A male pedestrian ran towards a bus and was run over after crashing into it on Jan. 1st near UH, KHOU11 reports.
The accident occurred on Scott Street and East Alabama Avenue around midnight.
Upon seeing the person running towards the vehicle, the Metro driver swerved left but the man still hit the bus and was crushed by the bus. The victim had tripped and was run over while he was laying on the floor.
Five people were present in the bus at the time of the accident. Besides the driver, there were four passengers.
The victim died on the scene. No one in the vehicle was injured.
