Motorcyclist dies following collision with commercial truck on Sam Houston Tollway
HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist fatally collided with a commercial truck on the Sam Houston Tollway near Blackhawk Blvd on Tuesday, according to Click 2 Houston.
The motorcyclist was heading west when they struck the back of a commercial truck around 5:30 a.m. Following the collision, the truck driver did not stop.
First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Authorities are treating the crash as a failure to stop and render aid incident.
Crews shut down the area for hours to process the scene.
