Motorist killed in fiery single-vehicle collision on Glen Chase Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A driver died early this morning as the result of a fiery, single-vehicle crash in the Copperfield Place area.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal accident happened in the 15600 block of Glen Chase Drive shortly after 2:30 a.m.

They say that a white 2020 Nissan Kicks was headed westbound at a high rate of speed when its driver lost control, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree. The vehicle caught fire, trapping the driver inside. They were already dead by the time sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene.
