Pedestrian severely injured after being hit by car at Koenig and Woodrow
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was severely injured after being hit by a driver near the Allandale neighborhood this afternoon, according to KXAN.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Koenig Lane and Woodrow Avenue at about 4:30 p.m., when a pedestrian identified only as an adult woman was struck by a driver.
The victim was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene after the collision.
Drivers were told to expect heavy traffic delays near the scene of the crash.
