Pickup vs. mini-bike crash on NW Fwy at Spring Cypress kills 1
SPRING, TX – A man died Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle collision involving a mini-bike in north-central Harris County.
According to Fox 26 Houston, emergency crews responded to a a fatal crash on the service road for the Northwest Freeway, or I-45, and Spring Cypress Road in the city of Spring. This is just 25 miles northwest of Houston.
An initial investigation indicates that a westbound Ford F-150 collided with a man on a dirt bike as the driver of the pickup initiated a right turn into a private drive. The dirt bike operator became pinned beneath the pickup truck.
Authorities pronounced the victim deceased at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet released his name to the public.
No charges have been announced so far.
The investigation is ongoing.
