Police investigate fatal pedestrian crash in Addicks Reservoir

HOUSTON, TX – A 29-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in northwest Houston late Monday night, reports abc 13.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to an auto-pedestrian crash just east of North Eldridge Parkway on Clay Road in the Addicks Reservoir.

Police say that it was very dark when a Honda Accord struck a man that was crossing Clay Road.

The victim, who has not yet been named publicly, died at the scene.

The driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities. He did not show signs of intoxication.

A full investigation is underway.
