Police investigate two-vehicle crash near TX-288, McGowen
HOUSTON, TX – Emergency teams responded to a multi-car collision along the highway in midtown Houston earlier this week.
According to abc 13, the accident occurred Tuesday on the northbound side of TX-288, or the South Freeway, near McGowen Street.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause or circumstances of the crash except to say that two vehicles were involved and that the guardrail along the highway was badly damaged. There’s no word at this time regarding injuries.
Officials closed several northbound lanes of TX-288 while teams gathered evidence and worked to clear the debris. Wreckers removed both involved vehicles from the scene.
