Single-vehicle crash at Tidwell Rd, Wayside Dr proves fatal

HOUSTON, TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to a solo crash that happened over the weekend in northeast Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.

Just prior to 3:45 a.m. Sunday, emergency crews responded to a major accident at Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive near Halls Bayou Greenway.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a red Honda Civic lost control of his vehicle, causing it to crash into a tree.

The driver became entrapped in the vehicle and ultimately died at the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
