Three-vehicle collision on State Highway 71 caused multiple injuries
AUSTIN, TX- A three-vehicle collision on State Highway 71 critically injured one and minorly injured another on Thursday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
At approximately 1:40pm, officials responded to the 15314 area of West State Highway 71 due to reports of a three-vehicle collision with four victims. One of the victims was entrapped in their vehicle, and officials extricated them, reporting them to be critically injured. The critically injured victim was transported via StarFlight to Dell Seton Medical Center, while the other was transported with minor injuries to Baylor Scott & White Lakeway. The other two involved refused transport.
