TxDOT shuts down I-610 South along Telephone Road in Houston due to heavy truck crash

HOUSTON, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation shut down Interstate 610 South along Telephone Road around 11 a.m. on Thursday due to a heavy truck crash.

According to ABC13, the collision resulted in a hazmat spill, prompting closures of all eastbound lanes.

Authorities did not specify whether another vehicle was involved, report any injuries, or confirm how the collision unfolded.
