Man airlifted after motorcycle vs car crash near Katy ISD campus
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — One person was seriously injured Wednesday morning due to a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in southeast Katy, reports KHOU11.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred at 1823 Westgreen Boulevard, near Memorial Parkway Junior High School. It was first reported by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez at 7:15 a.m.
The circumstances behind the accident remain unclear at this time, but deputies confirmed a male victim was taken by Life Flight medical helicopter to an area hospital. No information regarding his identity or condition has been disclosed.
Authorities did not immediately indicate whether the victim was the motorcycle operator.
An investigation remains active and ongoing.
