Multi-vehicle wreck closes several lanes of I-610 EB in Shady Acres area
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were called to a collision Friday afternoon on Interstate 610 in northwest Houston’s Shady Acres area, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident impacted the eastbound lanes of I-610 before Ella Boulevard and was verified by officials at 3:55 p.m.
Details are limited, but as many as three vehicles were involved, leaving the right shoulder, right lane, and two center lanes blocked to traffic.
It was not immediately clear what kinds of vehicles were involved, what led up to the wreck, and whether anyone was seriously hurt.
